Once again, It’s all about ME!

I’ve been tagged by Heather at Desperately Seeking Sanity for the Random Fact Meme. Here are the rules:

Each player starts with seven random facts about themselves. People who are tagged need to write on their own blog about the seven things and the rules. You need to choose seven people to tag and list their names. Don’t forget to leave them a comment that they have been tagged and to read your blog!

And here are the random facts:

I was diagnosed ten years ago with Multiple Personality Disorder. There are actually at least 5 of me and only one of my personalities is known as Nutmeg. She’s the funny one and I like her best.
It shouldn’t surprise you then that we have Rowan and Rowinsane because MPD actually has genetic implications. I think Rowan was conceived when Meggie was in charge of the body because she’s the most whacked and needy personality of the lot.
There are some benefits to this disorder, the greatest being that I never have to clean or cook because Maggie the Maid does all that and she’s pretty damn good. Nathan can tell when Maggie takes a leave of absence and he just takes over the cooking for a while because none of the rest of us can so much as boil an egg.
Miss Meg is the Catholic school girl. She’s prissy and repressed and Nutmeg can’t stand her but Maggie and she get along famously. Sometimes they share the body and have whole conversations at places like the grocery store or the bank when they’re taking care of things and being perfect. Miss Meg can wiggle her ears and Maggie sometimes writes ‘crazy lady’ on her forehead in plum lipstick.
Meggie writes all the sappy and stressed out posts. She has to have Miss Meg edit them though because she can’t spell for shit and over-uses the comma. She likes the semi-colon too but the rest of us hate it. We always send Meggie to the therapy sessions because we’re all rather thrifty and like to get our money’s worth. She’s always good for a good boo-hoo.
There has been some concern that there may be a male personality in the midst because occasionally the body just sits in front of the television burping and farting and scratching its groin and then takes a twenty minute dump in the downstairs bathroom. There’s also a very expensive set of golf clubs in the trunk of the car and none of us remembers buying them.
Sometimes I make shit up.

I also despise having to tag people so I’m tagging anybody who would like to be tagged for this as well as Nathan who is not a blogger but can put his random facts in my comments. (I’ll make it worth your while - wink, wink - I’ll get Maggie to cook dinner tonight!)

Unfortunately, I only got to the middle of the entry before being distracted by a gnat. Megzilla, one of my more difficult personalties and the one who just read this, has ADD.

1. i desire order and chaos. 2. i love to work and hate it. 3. i am extremely laid back and anal retentive. 4. i know a lot and almost nothing. 5. i am extremely observant and practically obtuse. 6. my strengths are my weaknesses. 7. i am niether and both. 8. my personalities sometimes can’t follow rules like “seven rules” or even “breaking rules”.
btw: rowan said as i left today “princess says goodbye, mermaid says goodbye, rowan’s sister says goodbye, and rowan (third person still you notice) says goodbye”- of course it was nowhere near as coherent. still waiting for her ennunciating personality.
